I know that Christmas was a while ago, now. But on TV, they all do a Christmas special. And so shall I. So here is my month late, Christmas Special!! For Christmas, I just asked for money, so that I could buy myself a laptop. I pretty much had my heart set on a MacBook, but was, at one point, veering off course. Going to buy a Lenovo YogaBook. So I found some comparisons. In short: the MacBook has a bigger screen, a real keyboard, better graphics, it’s faster, and it integrates with all your Apple devices.
So in the end, I nearly had enough money to buy the cheapest Apple MacBook: £899. Outrageous, I know. But my mum managed to top me up. So we went into John Lewis, and bought the MacBook Air. The cashier told me that about everywhere in the country had sold out! I had bought the last one that John Lewis stocked!
So I took it home, set it up. I made a few videos using iMovie, some music with GarageBand. But mostly, I have used it to edit techtadpole.
I think that is great. I love the fact that you just take a photo on your phone, and it appears on your computer. It’s like magic! I can FaceTime, message and even call people from it! It isn’t even that heavy! One problem is that it has no disc drive. So I would have to buy another £80 add on.
Apart from that, I love it! I am writing this, right now, on my new(ish) MacBook Air.
Happy 2018, everyone!!
